The Moon keeps me awake all night, He feeds his madness to me. Dreams far too dark to sleep in peace, I'd rather keep Mr Moon company! He screams, he feels, his light - it speaks! No man can hear his cries, except me.
And he looks upon planet Earth, with hope for a change. And yet, selfishly I look at my own life, with hope for a change. With hope for a change.
Ever since I arrived I can hear his cries in the night. Ever since I arrived I can feel his light upon my skin. Ever since I arrived I can sense his loneliness. Ever since I arrived I can see the love he has for me.
And since that day I arrived, I have yearned for some peace. His madness, the dreams, his constant need for company, It's all far too much for me! If only he would let me go back to sleep. I want to go back home. Go back home.
Still I know my place, know my place. And so I'm left with the Moon and his madness. And I give in to his madness. And I give in to his madness.
