I instantly feel the atmosphere of MYST when I see this piece, the loneliness, the beauty and the mystic. The girl, who could very well be the Stranger sits there, trying to find her way home.
I find the grass the be most realistic, the deepness leaves you wanting to touch it. The water and the horizon is also very realistic and well drawn.
Although I find the trees to be a bit flat and errors in the perceptive I like how the artwork comes together. The artist has clearly found a way to catch the feeling of MYST, leaving us to wonder: "Will the girl in the picture ever find the right door?"
